Itinerario y Horarios

The visit lasts 1 hour. We meet at the main entrance ‘Puerta del Príncipe’

We visit some exhibition rooms where we will see paintings, models, photographs and bullfighting elements belonging to some of the most famous bullfighters in history. Corners such as the chapel, the stables or the arena itself, will make us better understand the importance of the bullring and the activity that takes place in it.

Punto de Encuentro

Main entrance of the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza (just to the left of the Puerta del Príncipe).

The Plaza de Toros is one of the most visited monuments in the city.

The Plaza de Toros de Sevilla is considered the second oldest bullring in Spain. Due to its successive renovations and extensions, its arena is kind of different from the rest of those that exist in the country, having a somewhat semi-oval shape, this detail is quite interesting and we will verify it ‘insitu’ in the same arena. On the other hand, for bullfighters, this square is one of the ‘Bullfighting Cathedrals’, so that for bullfighters, bullfighting in the Maestranza is one of their highest aspirations.
