Itinerario y Horarios

The meeting point is the Puerta del León.

The Puerta del León is located in the Plaza del Triunfo, the center of the World Heritage area of Seville. You will see many visitors and groups walking and taking photos of every corner of this spectacular enclave, where we find the 3 buildings protected by UNESCO in Seville, the Reales Alcázares, the Cathedral and the Archivo de Indias.

During our route we will discover that the Alcázar is the oldest Royal Palace in Europe still in use. In its more than 1000 years it has offered accommodation to all kinds of rulers, nobles, monarchs … Today we find 3 palaces, which we visit on the guided tour, and more than 7 hectares of gardens designed for the enjoyment of the 5 senses.

Once we finish the visit in the Alcázar, we go to the Puerta del Lagarto, in the Cathedral, which is the access for the entrance of groups to the monument. The tour in the temple is divided into 3 parts, the visit begins in the Patio de los Naranjos, later the tour in the temple begins, there we will enjoy its treasures and heritage, and finally, the climb to the bell tower Giralda.

From the Cathedral we go to the Barrio de Santa Cruz, which is one of the most unique spaces in the historic center of Seville. For a long period of time the Jewish community of the city occupied this labyrinthine area that largely preserves the urban structure. That leads us to find today countless narrow alleys, hidden squares, symbols that remind us of the families who lived in this place a long time ago … in short, Santa Cruz is an area with a special charm that continues preserving even today, that traditional essence that makes this place a magical space.

Leaving the Barrio de Santa Cruz, we will cross the Jardines de Murillo, and from there and about 10 minutes walking, we arrive at what is probably the most spectacular public square that exists in the world. Built to represent Spain in the Ibero-American Exposition 1929. Without a doubt, it will surprise you.

In the second part of the Tour, after the break, we will visit the María Luisa’s Gardens, conceived as the central axis of the famous Ibero-American Exposition 1929, after crossing them we will walk along the Paseo del Río ending the guided tour at the Puente de San Telmo where we admire one of the most wonderful views that can be enjoyed in Seville, the views of the Torre del Oro and the Guadalquivir River

Punto de Encuentro

Puerta del León in the Plaza del Triunfo

The ’The Southern Treasure, Sevilla’ is a 7-hour experience that offers a visit to the most representative areas of the city, the ‘musts’ that you can never miss if you visit Seville.

The visit is divided into 2 parts:

-Visit of the Cathedral, the Reales Alcázares and the Barrio de Santa Cruz. But it does not end here, this experience also adds an absolutely magical place, indeed, a space that is even considered one of the most spectacular public squares that may come to exist in the world, the Plaza de España.

The Cathedral, the Reales Alcázares and the Barrio de Santa Cruz are in the same sector, being really connected. This fact makes really comfortable to visit the 3 most iconic areas in the same experience.

Because of what these 3 groups represent for the history of the city, it is recommended to visit them, since they show by themselves a spectacular historical and patrimonial compendium, capable of manifesting a succession of times and events that encompass a historical period of more than 1000 years.

This enclave is a unique example of fusion between architectural styles and cultures, which at some point coexisted in the city of Seville. The rise of Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities, and of course, the decline suffered by all of them at various times is told through the walls of most of the buildings that we will see during the guided tour.

In addition to this area, which by the way was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, specifically the Cathedral and the Reales Alcázares, there is a place that has amazed visitors every day since 1929, when its construction was completed. The Plaza de España is considered today, as I have mentioned before, a unique, magical space, built to represent Spain in the Ibero-American Exposition 1929. Its uniqueness and beauty has made this place the setting for countless films, series and documentaries , in addition to international events. This incredible place is located in one of the most charming and romantic gardens of Spain.

-Second part of the visit:

The María Luisa’s Gardens were designed to be one of the main points during the celebration of the Ibero-American Exposition 1929. One of the ‘must’ in Seville is to pass through them admiring each ceramic or marble detail and sculpture that we find per many corners.

We finish the Tour on the Paseo del Río near Torre del Oro on the San Telmo’s bridge, enjoying the views that the Guadalquivir River gives us as it passes through Seville
